Wemo collects the information you provide during onboarding, including your name, phone number, and BVN for identity verification. We also collect transaction data, usage patterns, and message content necessary to provide our AI financial assistant service.
We use your information to process transactions, provide personalised financial insights, detect fraud, and improve our services. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Conversations between you and Wemo are end-to-end encrypted by WhatsApp. Message content in transit is protected by WhatsApp's encryption protocol. Wemo stores only the data necessary to execute and record your transactions.
Transaction records are retained for 7 years in compliance with Nigerian financial regulations. You may request deletion of non-regulatory data by contacting us.
